Our Kid's classes are designed to get you child more acitve while having fun through learning Martial Arts
Our Kid's classes are designed to get you child more active while having fun through learning Martial Arts
This class uses fun games and drills to start your little one on the martial arts path. We teach the basic positions of Jiu Jitsu, as well as using games that improve balance, coordination, confidence, and flexibility.
The Pee Wees learn Jiu Jitsu positions and techniques in a fun, playful manner. Our focus is on enjoyment and developing their physical attributes such as balance, coordination, strength, and agility. They make new friends while learning self defence skills.
This age group focuses on the fundamental techniques of Jiu Jitsu, as well as playing martial arts related games to develop their physical qualities. We focus on teaching skills for self defence as well as drills to improve athletic ability, all the while making sure training is fun and enjoyable.
Our Teens programme is for young people who want to learn self defence, get fit, and make new friends in a friendly and welcoming team environment. We take new teen members all year round and there’s no level of fitness or experience required. Whether you want to compete in the sport of Jiu Jitsu or just learn one of the most effective martial arts, this class is for you.
Our Basics class is where you start Jiu Jitsu, and it’s for total Beginners. This class takes you through the very first steps. The basic techniques and movements of Jiu Jitsu are covered, and we let you train at your own pace.
You’ll build your fitness and conditioning to eventually transition into our Mixed Classes, and enjoy learning the fascinating art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This class has no sparring, and is a great way to try Jiu Jitsu out. Get in touch now to find out more.
Our Mixed Classes are for everyone from White belt beginner to Black belt. In these sessions, you’ll learn fundamental techniques and drills to improve you as a martial artist.
These classes are for all levels of fitness and experience, and teach our curriculum that focuses on all areas of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a martial art. Here you’ll learn technique, do enhancement drills, and roll with your team mates.
These classes focus on the sport of Jiu Jitsu, with warm ups, drills, and sparring. We compete in Gi and NoGi competitions nationally and internationally all year round.
This class is for more experienced Jiu Jitsu fighters who want to train for Jiu Jitsu competition, or for those who enjoy training athletically.
Sean is an experienced competitor and coach who works with all levels in the academy. Sean’s Jiu Jitsu style is based on movement and technicality, and his enthusiasm for the art is reflected in how he coaches.
Nathan coaches our NoGi and Kids classes. He is a professional MMA fighter and brings his real world experience in combat sports into his coaching. He has a technical style based on pressure and high level movement, as well as a relentless enthusiasm for hard work and training.
Barry is the founder of Kyuzo and one of the original Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts in Ireland. He enjoys teaching the fundamentals of the art for any arena- sport, self defence, or just for knowledge, and sharing his extensive experience with others.
Dave coaches Teens and Adults at Kyuzo, and is an active Masters competitor. With his enthusiasm for Jiu Jitsu, you’ll find him on the mat training alongside everyone as well as sharing his extensive experience in the classes he coaches.
