Our New Home is Just About Ready
You'll now find Jiu Jitsu in the Rathborne Village Centre, Eircode D15XWF1
It's been a busy and exciting weekend for us as we've moved to our brand new gym in Rathborne, Dublin 15. Would you believe, I took plenty of photos of the work as we did it, but none of the completed gym once we were done! You can find loads of those on the instagram channel though @kyuzojiujitsu
I guess you'll just have to come and see for yourself.

The new location is easy to find. Previously, I'd have had to put some directions in like "come up the hill, ignore the trucks, turn left, step over the puddle, then head up the stairs...." But now it's easy. Come in the door beside Spar, walk down the stairs. You can't miss us.

It's beautiful inside and out, and the space is just perfect for Jiu Jitsu. There's a great matted area, spacious waiting areas for parents, safe access for kids on bikes or on foot, and it's accessible by train, bus, and just 2 mins off the M50 motorway at the Navan Road.

Under your feet on the mats there are 2000 foam cubes, making a soft sprung floor for Jiu Jitsu training, reducing impact and increasing safety.
Everything has been thought out to create a perfect Grappling gym. From the wall padding to the airflow, we wanted this to be perfect.
Outside of the training space, we're still a slight work in progress. Our showers aren't quite ready, and our reception desk was delayed, meaning we've still got some work to do to be perfect. But we will be, and soon.
For now though, we're ready to train, and that includes welcoming you to the mat. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, come and train with us. We're accepting new members now.
A final word of thanks to everyone who made this possible over the weekend. A lot of people gave up their time and energy to make the place happen in a short space of time. We did the whole move including painting, laying mats, padding walls, hanging banners, adding branding in just 3 long days. And we did it while having a laugh too.
Now, I just can't wait to train,
See you on the mat!
